Jump drives- also known as USB drives, flash drives, keychain drives, disk on key or P-drives- are plug-and-play portable storage devices. These portable devices use flash memory and small enough to fit on a key-chain. This small yet powerful device is capable of holding data from 1GB to 2GB. Recently, Lexar jump drives gave a new look to jump drives.
Lexar jump drives are very small- just about the size of a pack of gum. Despite being small, they can be used for numerous purposes such as storing documents like pictures, songs, videos, presentations, work files, and even databases. Practically anything can be stored in 2 GB or less. Lexar jump drives are plugged into a USB port and are easy to use. As soon as it is plugged, the operating system recognizes the device as removable storage. It gives it a drive letter that you can access just like you would a normal floppy or CD.
